This webinar is designed to inform advocates, organizations, and state agencies about how to leverage nutrition programs before, during and after a natural disaster. Participants will hear from experts about best practices and lessons learned from the 2017 disasters Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria, and the California wildfires. They will also learn about the most efficient ways to utilize effective communication strategies and roll out D-SNAP and benefit replacement techniques to support low-income communities in the wake of disasters.
