This webinar will bring attention to the fact that some of the most effective anti-poverty programs for children today are actually tax policies. During the webinar, we will discuss: new research documenting the benefits of tax policies, including the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child Tax Credit for children and their families; proposals in Congress to change these policies; and why advocates who care about children and youth living in poverty should care about what happens to these credits, and our nation’s broader tax policies, going forward.
